Writer with aspirations to be published and read somewhere, some day. My favourite cocktail is the Old Fashioned and I like to read the books of Lionel Shriver and Haruki Murakami. I've written for the festival reviewing publication ThreeWeeks at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe 08/09 and The Edinburgh International Book Festival 09. According to Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year modelling competition, I'm one of the top ten spectacle wearers in the country. FACT. I'm just putting it out there, in case this turns out to be my greatest achievement.
Books I'm currently reading or have recently read ...
Norwegian Wood, Haruki Murikami Peyton Place, Grace Metalious In the Pursuit of Love, Nancy Mitford Love in a Cold Climate, Nancy Mitford The Blessing, Nancy Mitford After the Quake, Haruki Murikami Tender is the Night, F. Scott Fitzgerald Bonjour Tristesse, Francoise Sagan The Great Gatsby, F. Scott Fitzgerald Darkness Visible, William Styron The Dud Avocado, Elaine Dundy Eat, Pray, Love, Elizabeth Gilbert Breakfast at Tiffany's, Truman Capote
'music for me, music feels like a fart. It's like a bodily function. You feel it coming and you have to let it out, because if you don't, there's going to be a problem. You just have to kind of find a space, and pray to God that it doesn't stink.'
